Leeds Migration Partnership Strategy Group Meeting: 5th October 2023 – all are welcome to attend this meeting.

The Leeds Migration Partnership Strategy Group are meeting on

Date: Thursday 5th October 2023 (10am-12pm)
Venue: LASSN, 22/23 Blayds Yard, Leeds, LS1 4A
Meeting theme:
- Asylum discontinuations: Leeds City Council Migration Team, Leeds Housing Options and DWP will provide an update on the current position. Partners are invited to share insights and agree partnership working approaches.
  - Partners are invited to review the session delivered to LMP Ops on 23rd June by LCC Leeds Housing Options and Private Rented Team. The presentation provides an overview of key housing related areas such as: Leeds Homes registration; Homeless prevention -dispute resolution, eviction alerts; Homelessness assessment; Landlord letting scheme. These areas will not be fully covered during the strategy meeting, therefore further details are available here.
- Illegal Migration Act: Asylum Matters will provide an insight into the Act and the potential implications. Partners are invited to share insights.
In addition to the agenda, partners are welcome to share updates on key items at the meeting.
