To ensure the Partnership has clear priorities and goals and works towards achieving them, by collaborating and influencing other Strategic Partnerships.
Voice and influence
The Strategy Group will ensure that experts by experience are supported to form part of the task groups, and to represent the Partnership at strategic forums.
What does the Strategy Group do?
The Strategy Group is where LMP members decide what the Partnership priorities should be, and how to influence local, regional and national policy around Migration.
We meet quarterly to plan the best way to achieve influence and change, to feed back on progress and to agree how information and opportunities for involvement will be shared across the Partnership.
Members take on additional work on Partnership Priorities (usually through task and finish groups) by gathering evidence, and helping members to better understand the strategic landscape of Leeds by explaining how decisions get made.
The Strategy Group represent the concerns of Partners at the Leeds Strategic Migration Board and other places.
When does the Strategy Group Meet?
The LMP Strategy Group meets every 3 months, the week before the LMP Operations Group (and two weeks before the Leeds Strategic Migration Board)
