LASSN has been approached by a MSc Psychology student from Coventry Uni who is looking for teachers to help with her dissertation research. The project aims to better understand ESOL teacher/volunteer experiences working with refugees and asylum seekers. The study aims to add to the current literature on how we can best support those working with these groups in English language provision. Jessica is particularly interested in teacher/ volunteer well-being and how the role of the teacher varies in these settings.
There is a short survey to complete and Jessica will use information from the survey to contact possible participants to arrange a convenient time for a Zoom interview.
