Anti-Slavery Day 18th October 2022: Launch of the Leeds Pledge to Tackle Modern Slavery

Tuesday 18th October, Leeds Civic Hall, 9.30am – 1.00pm

Leeds City Council are launching the Leeds Pledge to Tackle Modern Slavery on the 18th October 2022 (world anti-slavery day).

To find out how you can play your part in putting an end to this heinous crime, partners from across statutory, third sector and business services are invited to attend this event.

Key-note speakers at the event include representatives from West Yorkshire Police, Palm Cove Society, Ashiana, Justice & Care, and Hope for Justice.

This event will show how you can support the Leeds Pledge and take action, regardless of where you work, live or volunteer. So, whether you are in the public sector, the voluntary sector, retail, hospitality, agriculture, beauty, production, construction, finance, tech, transport or something else – this event is for you.
