Seminar: Children and childhoods in the context of asylum, 18th September 2017

One in every 122 people is displaced by war, violence and persecution… and more than half of all refugees are children (United Nations, 2015).

The Centre for Applied Childhood, Youth and Family Research, University of Huddersfield, warmly invites you to a seminar that looks at children and childhoods in the context of asylum. The event is aimed primarily at practitioners and those who work with children and young people, as well as students, academics and other professionals.

This seminar draws on social science research, lived experiences, activism and practitioner knowledge. We are grateful to our key contributors who will be looking at different aspects of practice and policy:
