Left Bank Leeds are hosting an exhibition of photographs by Humans of Leeds, which aims to set the stories of refugees alongside the stories of others who have moved to Leeds for work or study or family, in recognition of the fact that refugees are as much a part of our city as anyone else that has come to call it home.
There is a small selection of photographs in the new porch gallery, which is open 10-4 on Wednesdays and Thursdays until July 27th, and the exhibition will expand into the main space June 20th-22nd with an opening event on June 19th. [https://tinyurl.com/ybfrtlf9]
Also picking up on the importance of telling our stories, Left Bank Leeds will be running a series of reflections on the stories we all tell, on the afternoon of June 25th. The event is not aimed solely at refugees, but we hope it will be a welcoming and safe space for reflection, if that is something that would be valued. [https://tinyurl.com/y7oeawhn]
