Hosting Coordinator
We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and self-motivated person to take on the coordination and development of our Hosting Project.
The project provides temporary accommodation in the homes of volunteer hosts to people who are at risk of destitution following a negative outcome at the end of the asylum process.
The Hosting Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, training and supporting a pool of volunteer hosts, managing placements and ongoing support for hosts and guests, developing relationships and liaising with referral & partner agencies, maintaining systems of monitoring & evaluation and working to adapt & develop the project.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in tackling destitution amongst people seeking asylum in Bradford as part of a passionate team working in a supportive and friendly environment.
Hours: 21 per week
Salary: £24,496 – £27,344 (pro rata) [NJC Pay Scale 5] dependent on skills and experience
CHAT English Club Coordinator
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and talented person to take on the coordination and development of the CHAT English Club.
CHAT provides a fun & friendly learning environment in which students can practise English conversational skills, build confidence and enhance wellbeing. A key element of the CHAT experience involves regular trips and activities in and around the Bradford district.
The CHAT English Club Coordinator will be responsible for the successful promotion, planning and delivery of the conversation class, including sourcing opportunities for additional activities, trips & experiences within an agreed budget and responsibility for the recruitment & supervision of a small team of volunteers.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in welcoming and empowering people seeking asylum in Bradford as part of a passionate team working in a supportive and friendly environment.
Hours: 6.5 per week
Salary: £22,369 (pro rata) [NJC Pay Scale 4, SCP 7]
