This workshop is aimed at voluntary and community groups to help them find out about funding available from Leeds City Council, NHS CCGs and other public sector organisations who buy in services through grants and contracts. Learn about the commissioning process where community needs are assessed in order to achieve better outcomes for local communities and how you can be involved in influencing and delivering those outcomes. We will look at the commissioning process in Leeds, who the key commissioners are, what funding opportunities are available (from in and outside Leeds), how to keep track of them and how to move from grant funding to bidding for contracts.
There will be a free follow up session to help you bid for contracts, with one-to-one support available.
Venue: Stringer House, 34 Lupton Street, Hunslet, Leeds LS10 2QW
