‘Understanding Factors Impacting Wellbeing in Asylum Seekers and Refugees’
When: Monday 4th December 2023 10am – 12.45pm
Where: Manor House, Manor Street, Leeds, LS7 1PZ

This training is for anyone working in Leeds, West Yorkshire in the field of mental health who would like to understand more about refugees and asylum seekers and specifically how to support them better.

‘Working with Interpreters in a Mental Health Setting’
When: Friday 26th January 2024 9.55 – 12.30 via Zoom

If you work or volunteer in a mental health or wellbeing support practice, and may need to use interpreters for patients or service users with limited English language, this course will benefit you.

I found that Azam provided guidance and practical wisdom in an amazing way. She also provided clear examples that made it accessible to me. It was great to have that dual perspective from a therapist and an interpreter.
