Skills Bootcamp in Applied English Language in healthcare – sign up by 4th March 2024

This course is an employability-focused higher level occupational ESOL class for migrants to become confident English speakers, and obtain and sustain quality employment in the healthcare sector.

Beam will deliver 200 hours of employability-focused ESOL over a 10 week period. This is followed by 12 weeks of intensive employment support and then a further 12 weeks of support, to best support migrants in Wakefield (and West Yorkshire) and address the serious staff shortages in health and social care. Our aim is to support you into quality, high-paying roles that reflect your skills and experience.

The course will start on 4th March, it will be delivered online, for 12 participants who are refugees (or migrants who have lived in the UK for more than 3 years – DfE funding rules), with priority given to those living in Wakefield, but those in the rest of West Yorkshire are also eligible.

The course is on our Future Goals website at the link below, please can you share with your networks and provide any useful links to Habibat?
