Leeds Migration Partnership (LMP) ‘Days of Future Past’ is a half day event aimed at voluntary, community organisations and groups who work to support migrant communities in Leeds. Book here.

We know attending a half day event is a big ask – so we’re keen to make the most of the time we spend together. Our shared focus will be on how LMP can make your work easier, and more effective.

Since the start of the pandemic many of our organisations and groups have had to change to the way we operate. LMP, like many partnerships and networks, has only been able to meet online. This method of meeting has made working together and collaboration a real challenge. Book here

This Days of Future Past event has designed to enable us all to re-connect and re-energise, and to decide

  • How LMP can support our members over the next year (the future)
  • How we want to meet and update one another (the present)
  • How we can learn from the last year (the past)

We’re meeting up at the Holbeck Working Men’s Club, run by Slung Low – and we’ve chosen there because it’s accessible, got decent parking, it’s pay as you feel, and there’s loads of space. Slung Low are also a great example of how to survive and thrive during a Pandemic (and beyond), by focusing on what’s most important and looking at things from the perspective of people on the margins.

And, if we’re meeting in person, the least we can do is put lunch on (plant based) – because we always get more done (and have more fun) when we’re sharing a meal.

So please join us, and book your place using the Eventbrite link: Book here

We look forward to seeing you
