This is an English course for adults 19+ who are speakers of other languages.
You will learn to:
- Say how you feel when you are ill, and describe common symptoms
- Make appointments with health professionals
- Understand and follow instructions related to health and wellbeing
- Find your way around a hospital or health centre.
- Be aware of personal safety and ask for help
The course is ESOL level Entry 1-3. It is free to asylum seekers, refugees, people resident in the UK for 3+ years, and some other learners
Venue: Kentmere Community Centre, Kentmere Ave, Seacroft, Leeds LS14 1BW
Start date: Thursday 6th October for 11 weeks
