In recent weeks, a number of you have had problems uploading to the Blog. THANKYOU to everyone who took the time to report their difficulties and for giving us a chance to fix things.
We’re sorry, and we think it is now fixed – but we’ve also had to add an extra level of security.
The security of the LMP blog has been issue for quite a while – we blogged about this almost exactly 2 years ago. But technology moves on, and since Christmas 2021, we have been overwhelmed by porn and dodgy investment posts making it past our first stage of security.
Some of what we did stopped you from posting, but did not stop the spam. Sorry about that Kate and Dot and Sabah, and Catherine – and everyone else who thought it was their error not ours.
Anyway, now – before you can upload anything – we ask you to answer a single question: “What bird is the symbol of Leeds”
We’ve tried to choose something that is both easy and at the same time too obscure for a computer to guess.
