Growing Points is a charitable organization that works with marginalized communities in the United Kingdom. We work to support the socio-economic upward mobility of migrants and other people who live on the socio-economic margins of the society.
Project Co-ordinator Role Description:
In partnership with Leeds NHS Trust and in coordination with other referral agencies, we have been running a successful project in Leeds. Through our Hidden Talents Project, we have successfully supported dozens of migrants to join the NHS for apprenticeship opportunities in Clinical Support Worker and/or Business Administration roles. We are looking for a Volunteer to run this innovative project in Leeds. The coordinator roles include:
- Liaising with referral agencies, our services users, volunteer guardians and NHS Trust
- Coordinating application process for each cohort of applicants
- Conducting triage for newly referred service users
- Helping improve service delivery of the project
