The Strategic Approach to Migration in Leeds – LCC’s report

Eagle-eyed fans of local democracy will have noticed the report delivered to Leeds City Council’s Exec Board on the Strategic Approach to Migration in Leeds on 24th July 2019. LMP Members who want to understand LCC’s approach to migration, and understand its current priorities should read this document carefully – it’s a good indicator of what the council views as “significant work” within the city.

Although tackling destitution, hate crime and mental health are priorities for LMP, none of these are addressed explicitly in this paper. Anyway – at 15 pages it’s well worth a read, and should make us all think about how together we can increase awareness of LMP’s priorities.
