PhD Studentship: Arts Engagement and Storytelling as Pathways to Solidarity with Refugees

We are delighted to announce an opportunity to apply for a PhD Studentship on “Arts Engagement and Storytelling as Pathways to Solidarity with Refugees”.  The successful candidate will be jointly hosted by The School of Politics and International Studies at the University of Leeds and the Community Partnerships team at Opera North.

We are looking for someone with a strong educational record to Masters level, with interests in areas relevant to theories of solidarity, and ideally relevant experience of, or interests in, the refugee sector.

Unfortunately the studentship is only available to students from the UK or European Union, with EU students usually only being eligible for the fees part of the award (i.e. they would not receive a maintenance grant unless they have been resident in the UK for 3 years immediately before starting).

The deadline for applications is Monday 10th December. For more information see: https://docs.google.com/document/d/15JKRQ29XGL2w8XoiV0vXwda6IjxFBG8VNAnBvXWqxWc/edit
