Info session about Leeds Volunteer Interpreting Service – Monday 9th September 12:15 – 13:00 (after LMP ops)

We are delighted to announce that Leeds Volunteer Interpreting Service (VIS) is nearly ready to go thanks to a 3 year grant from National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund! We will be seeking two staff to run the project and are keen to chat with interested organisations about how to get involved and access the interpreter pool.

We will be holding an info session and initial discussion of this with any interested local charities working with vulnerable migrants in Leeds on Monday 9th September at 12:15pm until 1pm, (straight after the LMP Operations Meeting) at Leeds Refugee Forum One Community Centre, Cromwell Street, Lincoln Green, Leeds LS9 7SG

We will provide some light refreshments for anyone staying on for the discussion of Leeds VIS and how to get involved.

We want to make sure we get the right amount of refreshments! If you are planning to join the meeting or have any questions, please let us know by emailing Emma McKee: [email protected].
