Eyewateringly short notice, but here’s an invitation to LUU’s launch event on Monday

“Leeds University Union (LUU) would like to invite you to the launch event of our campaign ‘Existence is Enough: 10 Days of Action in Solidarity with Refugees and Asylum Seekers’. This campaign aims to get students to re-think the idea that refugees have to ‘contribute’ to be a valued member of society and to show solidarity as a University with the lived experiences of Refugees and Asylum Seekers.

Meet like-minded people from the student body, the University and organisations in the city of Leeds, hear the story of a refugee currently studying here and learn more about what we have planned for the campaign.”
