Camden and Leeds councils are working together to hold a Zoom event to discuss innovative ways to tackle inequalities and identify what local action is needed to create racially just and inclusive places. The discussion will look to bring experts together who will help shape the agenda for locally driven racial justice in a post-Covid UK.
Zoom event will be held: Monday, 4 October 2021, 10:30am – 12:00pm
Keynote speakers include:
- Cllr Abdul Hai – Cabinet Member for Young People, Equalities and Cohesion, Camden Council
- Cllr Eileen Taylor – Lead Member for Black Asian Minority Ethnic, Leeds City Council
- Hanif Malik OBE – Park Lane Foundation
- Dr Fatumo Abdi – Public Health Specialist and Founder of Somali Mental Health Network
