As we’ve previously reported Leeds was successful in a bid to the Controlling Migration Fund at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to develop a city ESOL strategy and an English learning through activity community grants programme.
Communities Team of Leeds City Council have recently recruited successful candidates to lead this area of work as follows:
- Samantha Powell, ESOL Strategy Manager will lead on the development of the strategy and oversee support by
- Hannah Jameson, Language Hub Coordinator the delivery of the grants programme.
Hannah will officially start her duties on 3rd September.
