This is a fantastic resource, which mashes up all kinds of different data about immigration and Leeds:- National Insurance data, Housing Data, Census Data etc etc.
It brings together historic data and stuff that’s barely a year old – to create the best picture of migration available. It has huge potential for helping compile evidence to support service planning or to back up funding applications.
You can do amazing things with this map – like find out which areas of Leeds have the largest population of people from countries where FGM is common, and loads more.
The full address is https://observatory.leeds.gov.uk/population/migration-map/ but you may find http://bit.ly/leedsmigrationmap a little easier to remember
It is a truly remarkable achievement and really worth having a look. Well done to Qamran Hussain (Senior Data Analyst, [email protected]) and Samantha Powell (Leeds Migration Support Coordinator, [email protected])
