We are writing to let you know about an exciting new service to benefit organisations that support asylum seekers and refugees and their volunteers who provide a vital role in interpreting.
We are the Leeds Volunteer Interpreting Service, a partnership of organisations working with asylum seekers and refugees in Leeds. Our service will give interpreters an opportunity to –
- volunteer across several charities in Leeds
- access a range of accredited and non-accredited training
- access regular supervision and support
- build a training and hours portfolio
If you are an interpreter, we would love to hear from you about your experiences. Please fill in our questionnaire and we will use your feedback to plan and adapt the project to meet your needs.
