How to get help from Manuel Bravo Project – Please don’t send clients to our offices!

Hello All,

We are getting an increasing number of people being directed to attend our offices in Harehills without an appointment. Due to the nature of our work and the number of legal staff we have on site at any one time, we do not provide legal advice at our office at all (unless the person is an existing client and has been asked to attend by their lawyer). Any prospective clients attending our office without a pre-booked appointment will not be advised or admitted.

To make a referral for initial advice concerning any immigration or asylum matter:

  1. visit www.manuelbravo.org.uk
  2. Click on ‘Get Help’ in the dropdown menu
  3. Click on the ‘Get immigration advice’ button and fill in the  referral form with as many details as possible.
  4. A member of our outreach team will contact you to arrange further assistance. This can take up to 2 weeks with current demand.

Alternatively, call 0113 350 8608 if you are unable to access the web form or unable to complete it for any reason.

To make a referral for asylum casework (e.g representation for asylum appeals to the First Tier Tribunal):

  1. Visit www.manuelbravo.org.uk
  2. Click on ‘Get Help’ in the dropdown menu
  3. Fill out the ‘Ask for help with your asylum claim’ button and fill in the referral form
  4. A member of the Complex Casework admin team will get in touch to discuss the matter further. This is on average within 3 days after the referral is made but can sometimes take longer due to demand.

We appreciate that the lack of legal advice across our region is making for frustrated clients and frontline organisations alike and we don’t want to frustrate things further by turning clients away from our office who are expecting immediate help.

Please feel free to call us if you are unsure how best to use our services or have any questions about our service.

Thanks,

Team MBP
