This year marked 25 years since the first Refugee Week in the UK.
Joe – and a group of of film-makers wanted to celebrate the contribution refugees and asylum seekers have brought to life in Leeds.
The following is a glimpse of events during Refugee Week 2023 in Leeds, with many more events also held throughout the week.
Only by amazing people, communities, and organisations coming together was this all possible.
