12 brand new short films from My Bright Kite for schools & organisations

Local Grassroots Refugee Youth organisation, My Bright Kite, have released twelve brand new personal testimonial films made by children and young people in migration who attend Lawnswood School, Leeds.

The films include themes such as reasons for leaving home, migration journeys, first impressions of the UK, settling into school, challenges and ways to stay strong, bullying, feeling welcome and supported, key messages for students and teachers, future hopes and aspirations.

The primary target audience are education settings, although the resources are useful for colleagues in wider organisations as part of staff and volunteer development or as part of refugee awareness raising workshops and talks.
