Do you support young migrants who are looking for work in Yorkshire & Humber?
Connecting Opportunities is holding an online Q&A session focused on youth training opportunities. We have speakers from four brilliant organisations who are currently delivering employment programmes for people up to the age of 30 years. The session is open to both workers and participants and will be held on Wednesday 11th August from 1 – 3 pm.
You will hear from:
- Career Foundations (an 8-week programme including a 2-week work placement for young people aged 19-24 in a variety of industries, from business admin to construction)
- Springboard (3-5 week courses including industry recognised qualifications and support into work in the hospitality, leisure, and tourism industries. Open to 16 -30 year olds)
- We Care Academy (6 month paid placement opportunities across adult social care for young people aged 19-24)
- Generation UK (3-6 week programmes open to young people aged 18-29 and looking to launch a career in customer service, software engineering or healthcare)
