Yorkshire Policy Innovation Partnership are recruiting to their community panel – could you help?

Yorkshire Policy Innovation Partnership (YPIP), a research project led by the University of Leeds that will coordinate initiatives, evidence and learnings to help reduce inequalities and address climate change in Yorkshire and the Humber.

Y-PIP, is run by multiple universities in Yorkshire. It is a research project, but it will also be issuing community grants, in Yorkshire and Humber this year, based around its different work packages.

Y-PIP are currently looking for volunteers for their community panel to guide their work and decisions. They will pay members of the panel a living wage for meetings they attend and any training hours.

At its heart will be the YPIP community panel – comprised of 12 members with diverse experiences of disadvantage, marginalisation or isolation – who will become equal decision-makers with key policymakers and researchers in the region.

LMP members are encouraged to put themselves forward for this great opportunity.
