Update from Manuel Bravo – 11th Feb 2021

We are currently operating a different, reduced service and will continue to do so until the end of the current lockdown in England.
Our phonelines are currently staffed every day between 9am and 11am. Calls made outside this time will be directed to our voicemail and called back as soon as we can.
We are still very much open for appeal matters and referrals should be made using the usual referral form (please contact the office on 0113 350 8608 for guidance if needed).
Any other urgent matters will also be prioritised (we deem an ‘urgent matter’ to be a matter that, for example, would cause loss of liberty, imminent removal from the UK or destruction of appeal rights if not dealt with promptly). If you are unsure if a matter is ‘urgent’, please get in touch and we can direct you accordingly.
We are also running a telephone outreach programme as our partner organisations who host our sessions are unable to safely host during lockdown. To access this service, please contact St Vincent’s Leeds on 0113 248 4126 or the MB office on 0113 350 8608. Your details will be passed to our Outreach Caseworker who can then arrange for you to be contacted to discuss the matter. All matters, both Immigration and Asylum related, can be dealt with using this service. This service is designed for clients to use directly and any third party callers (for example, fellow third sector asylum organisations) should call the office directly for assistance.
All other matters will recommence once lockdown is over. Many of our staff are unable to work at normal capacity due to either lack of childcare or shielding vulnerabilities and the safety of our clients, volunteers and staff is our upmost priority. We are still here and still open so please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward very much to resuming normal service soon.
