Thank you to every person, group, organisation who has signed the Charter and managed to attend the Launch on 10th May. It was great to see so many people. We have a series of meetings / working groups happening in June and July. The dates for June have been finalised and we are just sorting the dates for July but the provisional dates are below:

Migration Homeless Charter working Group – Thursday 4th July, 10 – 12noon @ Oak House. This is a Provisional Date and we hope to have representatives from MEARS, who are the new accommodation provider for Asylum Seekers in the region. We will confirm this soon.
- Prison Leavers Gathering – Thursday 20th June, 10 – 12noon @ West Yorkshire Community Chaplaincy Project (WYCCP), based on sight at the Prison (Jigsaw Room). This meeting is linked to the Addiction and Mental Health working group and will be focused on developing activities which can help to prevent people becoming Homeless on Prison Release.
Grass Roots / Charities connecting with Commissioned Services – Thursday 27th June, 5:30 – 7:30pm @ The St George’s Centre. We are hoping to have a brief talk from the Police on their engagement with the Homeless Community. - Addiction / Mental Health Working Group – The provisional date for this is Thursday 25th July, 10 – 12noon at St George’s Crypt. We’ll confirm shortly.
