We are looking for people who would like to volunteer, get involved, join us in a Creative led Solidarity Workers Start Up for migrants and refugees (mainly based in Leeds but also looking to expand this).
We are holding an iinitial networking meeting on zoom to open discussions and talk about our goals from our project. In brief , we are aiming to fund raise for migrants and refugees as well as create creative resources, available through events, and online during lockdown environments.
We also want to make the resources accessible, we want to fundraise for communication resources that would help people access these, we’d love to have you at our start up networking zoom call, and would love migrants and refugees to be at the front of projects and decision making process.
We have a pretty big network who will be setting it up with a south wales base too, so it should be exciting, we want to create a conversation and then help work with everyone to create a great platform for solidarity and community growth as well as wellness and creative outlet.
