We are excited to share that we have secured a grant to support vulnerable individuals in staying connected through the provision of free smartphones. This initiative aims to assist destitute asylum seekers and refugees who are currently receiving benefits and cannot afford a smartphone, ensuring they remain connected to essential services, support networks, and loved ones.
Eligibility Criteria. The program is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Destitute asylum seekers or refugees on benefits.
- Unable to afford a smartphone.
Eligible individuals must provide:
1- Proof of ID:
- A valid form of identification.
- If no ID is available, referrals from your organisation will be accepted.
2- Proof of Address:
- Any document showing their current address.
3. Proof of Benefits:
- Evidence of receiving benefits.
We encourage your organisation to share this opportunity with those in need and to assist with referrals where required. This initiative is critical in helping individuals access vital resources, employment opportunities, E-visas and maintain communication in a digital world.
