“Queens of Syria is an all-female Syria refugee theatre group coming on tour to UK next week.
They will be performing an adaptation on Euripides’ anti-war tragedy The Trojan Women – thought to be the first dramatization of a war crime and its female victims.
This project is incredibly important for the women, acting as both a therapeutic and empowering exercise. It is also incredibly important their story get heard by the international community, hence our quest to sell as many tickets as possible!
We will be in Leeds at the West Yorkshire Playhouse on 18th July.”
