The deadline for registration has passed, and there were a limited number of places – so please don’t pitch up without an invitation. This is being posted to ensure everyone is kept in the loop about developments within the sector.
On Wednesday 20th July, Migration Yorkshire will be holding a consultation event, to see how they can help the Voluntary and Community Sector to influence and shape thinking on migration issues in the region.
It is apparent that there is a wealth of expertise in the region, but that this expertise is not always heard and taken account of by national and local policy makers. Migration Yorkshire would like to start thinking through how to we may help to support a more co-ordinated voluntary sector in the region and how we can ensure that the expertise that exists is better represented at national and regional migration forums and groups.
