Grant Round 7 of the Mayor’s Safer Communities Fund, which is making £1million available to groups and organisations across West Yorkshire, is now open.
This grant round will support projects and interventions which will help deliver the new Police and Crime Plan 2024-28. Consultation on the new Plan ended on 31 October 2024 and has revealed overall support for the draft Plan, its priorities, cross-cutting themes and areas of focus.
Anyone delivering in any part of West Yorkshire across Bradford, Calderdale, Leeds, Kirklees and Wakefield Districts can apply.
The fund will also be open to projects which will deliver the BUILD element of Clear, Hold Build (CHB) in four Home Office pilot areas across West Yorkshire. CHB is a framework designed to improve the local response to tackling serious and organised crime threats, and we are inviting projects delivering in BD3 in Bradford, Park Ward in Calderdale, Harehills in Leeds, and Ashbrow in Kirklees to apply. Find out more about Clear, Hold, Build.
The fund closes at midday on 13 December 2024.
