Mafwa Theatre Associate Artists invite you to join us for an evening of food, music and celebration at a screening of ‘Flock: Short Stories from Women on the Move’ on 2nd December, 7-10pm, at CLAY, 1, 2 Regent St, Leeds LS2 7QA, UK.
‘Flock’ is a collection of 6 digital pieces created by Mafwa Theatre’s Associate Artists. Collaborating with illustrators, animators and filmmakers, each Associate Artist has crafted a short piece responding to themes of movement and change. The varied programme includes contemporary dance, illustration and poetry.
Mafwa Theatre’s Associate Artist Programme supports artists from migrant backgrounds to develop their practice, offering mentorship, professional development opportunities and a chance to create their own work.
