Step out in solidarity with asylum seekers and join BEACON Bradford for a day of activism and exercise!
Walk for Work is a sponsored walk from Bradford to Leeds raising awareness of the campaign to Lift the Ban on the right to work for asylum seekers.
The impact on asylum seekers of not being able to work is devastating – denying them of dignity and purpose and essentially de-skilling them of expertise and skills they may have brought with them to the UK.
We’re calling for an end to this cruel policy, along with more than 170 other Lift the Ban coalition members.
All funds raised will go to BEACON’s work providing welcome, hospitality and support to asylum seekers in Bradford. All welcome!
