Thank you to all who were able to attend the Leeds Migration Partnership strategy meeting, on the 12th of May. The action notes from the meeting can be accessed below.
Key highlights of the meeting included a review of the LMP priorities, discussions about the impact of recent changes regarding negative cessations and the new immigration policy plan. Leeds City Council’s lead on migration, Lelir Yeung, updated the partnership on the council’s restructure.
Simon Betts (Department of Work and Pensions representative) attended the meeting for the last time and is now retired and was thanked for his support over the years to the partnership.
