Thank you to all who were able to attend the Leeds Migration Partnership strategy group meeting on the 11th September. The meeting notes are below but just to highlight some of the key notes:
- The Employment and Learning priority was introduced to the group through a case study
- Helen Laird from Public Health presented information about the Migrant Health Board priorities
- Karen Pearse (PAFRAS) has volunteered to help facilitate and prepare for LMP’s strategic meetings in place of Ruth Davany – and will be leading on LMP’s Health Priorities (thanks Karen!) Karen will also be representing LMP at the Leeds Strategic Migration Board.
- Jon Beech (LASSN) will now be lead on LMP’s Housing priorities
