Commissioned Services Connecting with Charities / Grass Root Groups – This group met in June and then many people attended a meeting in July which enabled people to feed into the LCC Homeless Strategy. A draft safeguarding document is still been worked on which will be circulated in early September. The current draft is been sent to the Volunteer Centre and LCC Safeguarding team to get their thoughts on activities. A meeting date will be finalised by early September. Apologies that we haven’t quite managed to get a date yet.

Big Change – The new Big Change fund and marketing campaign is been launched in early October, (3rd Oct is the provisional date). Currently a small grants programme is been piloted which is open to official charities. Please note this is just a pilot and every effort will be made to help groups that can’t apply this time have the necessary governance to apply next time round. There is a link here in case more people want find out more.
