An ESOL strategy for Leeds is collaboratively being developed to improve outcomes for ESOL learners in Leeds. This work is being led by Leeds City Council who is hosting this Leeds ESOL Strategy Event in partnership with MESH and NATECLA.
Leeds ESOL providers, tutors, learners, stakeholders and community leaders are invited to share your experiences and considerations on how ESOL and learning English in Leeds can be improved to shape the collective approach to offering ESOL in Leeds.
The event will explore key themes including:
- Provision (availability, accessibility, learner barriers, coordination, funding and data)
- Progression (ESOL learner aspirations, further/higher education, employment etc.)
- Tutors and resources
- Partnership working approaches
