Bradford Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Survivors Service – JOB VACANCY – Refugee, Asylum Seeking and Trafficked Women’s Caseworker
(Maternity cover – 22 hours per week, worked over 3 days to include Mondays for up to 13 months)
The starting salary is NJC scale point 22 (currently £27,513.93) pro rata.
This post is temporary, to provide maternity cover and will last up to 13 months.
This role might be for you if you are committed to actively advocating for Refugee, Asylum Seeking and Trafficked women to access their rights and overcome barriers to a safe life in the UK. You have experience providing sensitive, safe and empowering support to distressed people in vulnerable situations. You’re a team player who’s comfortable within what can sometimes be a busy and demanding environment.
We especially welcome applicants with lived experience from women who will contribute to the diversity of our organisation, including Black, Asian & Minoritised women and disabled women.
This post will be based at our Bradford City Centre office/working from home /other locations as required
PLEASE NOTE: BRC & SASS offers services to women and girls who have experienced sexual violence within a women-only safe space. It is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, part 1) for this post to be filled by a woman.
