Invitation: Public Dissemination Event – Understanding how gambling may impact on migrants – Leeds – Thursday 29th November – 1pm – 3pm

Further to the focus group in June, we would like to invite you to attend a public dissemination event during which we will present the findings of our research project which investigated the impact of gambling on migrant communities in Leeds and London https://www.kcl.ac.uk/sspp/policy-institute/scwru/res/knowledge/gambling-and-migrants.aspx

During the event we hope to hear your thoughts about our findings and what things you would like to see in the future in order to better support migrants experiencing gambling-related harm.

Participants will be offered a £25 Love-to-Shop gift voucher and reasonable travel expenses (up to £15) for attendance.

The event will be led by Dr. Stephanie Bramley, Social Care Workforce Research Unit (SCWRU) at King’s College London.

The event will take place 1:00pm – 3:00pm in Room 2, Carriageworks Theatre, The Electric Press, 3 Millennium Square, Leeds, LS2 3AD.

Please contact Dr. Stephanie Bramley ([email protected]) for more information, or with any questions, and to book your place at the event.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Stephanie, Jill Manthorpe, Heather Wardle and Caroline Norrie
