Help Leeds CCG understand more about the MH needs of BAME Children & Young People

Leeds CCG are carrying out research to learn more about the mental health issues experienced by Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) children and young people in Leeds, and how to improve the support available.

As part of this we are asking for the views and experiences of parents/carers and stakeholders via the following surveys:

  • Survey for parents/carers of BAME children and young people available at https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/NHS5T/. Please note that based on consultation we used the phrase ‘emotional wellbeing’ in this survey.
  • Survey for people who work with or volunteer with children and young people from BAME groups -Please send this completed survey to [email protected]

We are also carrying out five focus groups with children and young people.

The findings from all of the above will be combined with national research and analysis of local service data in a final report which will be published on the CCG website in November, followed by a summary of change that have taken place/been planned in May 2020.

Please complete yourself if appropriate and promote via your networks. The deadline for completion is 1st September.

If you have any questions please contact me. Thank you very much.
