The following support is available to any rough sleepers/ people who can’t find shade
- St Anne’s resource centre will be open 8am – 8pm Monday and Tuesday, water, sun cream and shaded areas
- St George’s Crypt will be open Monday and Tuesday 11am – 6pm, water, sun cream , food and cool spaces (has air con inside)
- CGL are distributing water during their sweeps and are offering an open door policy until 3pm at Duncan House
- Simon on the Streets are supporting outreach functions and operating between the 12pm – 2pm both days.
Many Church buildings are cooler than other buildings and will provide shade from the heat.
In addition to this St George’s Church will be open between 11 – 4pm Monday and Tuesday to help people get some shade, if they need it. Lighthouse will be there to provide bottled water and pastoral support should anyone need it.
