A cordial invite from Leeds Council Mosques to discover the national day of ”visit my mosque“ day event, taking place on Sunday 3rd March 2019 from morning to afternoon depending on Mosque’s arrangement and timetables.
Jamia Masjid Ghousia, Brooklyn Terrace LS12 2BX 13:00 – 16:00
Iqra Centre, Carr Manor Crescent LS17 5DH 15:00 – 18:00
Grand Mosque, Woodsley Road, LS6 1SN 16:30 – 19:30
Lincoln Green Mosque, Cherry Row, LS9 7LY 14:00 – 17:00
The aim of the event is that everyone is welcome in mosques especially for none Muslim who can visit mosque/s on the day and discover Islam, find out what is happening in your local mosques and ask any questions you may have about Islam, traditions and any other elements that you may be interested.
There are loads of activities scheduled for the day for each individual masajids so please visit as many mosque/s as you can in order to increase your knowledge about Islam.
On the day, light food and drink will be provided so please bring your families, children, and anyone who you know or may be interested to attend the event.
