Event: Monday 13th May 2017: “What does it mean to be British now?” A Discussion at Leeds University

What: Discussion on the meaning of Britishness – or as the organisers describe it “a forum for civilised disagreement”

The organisers  – Tortoise Media – have done some interesting follow up work on the story of Jamal Hijazi – the Syrian teenager who was filmed being bullied in Huddersfield.
