EVENT: Leadership development in the migration sector

Do you work in the migration sector? Do you want to have your say about leadership development?

Migration Exchange is an informal network of funders that aims to build public support for a welcoming Britain. The network has commissioned research into leadership development opportunities for people working in the migration and refugee sector in order to understand

  • The leadership development opportunities that currently exist and what is working well
  • The barriers to leadership development in different parts of the sector
  • The design criteria for, and approaches to, leadership development best suited to the this sector

The insights from this process will be used to inform funding strategies and to seek funding for leadership development for the benefit of those who work in the migration sector.
As part of this process, we would love to hear your views and experiences and test some ideas with you.

We are interested in hearing from people at all levels of organisations, including senior staff, emerging leaders and trustees. We are particularly keen to hear from people with personal experience of the refugee and migration system. Any feedback from the session will be anonymised before being shared.

The session will run 26 March 2019 from 1.30- 3.30 at Oak House, Park Lane LS3 1EL and will be limited to maximum 10 people.

If you know someone you believe would be suitable to take part in the discussions please contact [email protected]

We are able to reimburse travel costs. Please indicate if you need this when you rsvp.
