The ESV project links 3rd Sector organisations to businesses with a view to the business donating their skills, time and support to groups and charities, to help develop and support your organisation in a way that you may not have time to do but would benefit you enormously
We currently have a partnership with Asda and other businesses, where staff teams go to many different charities for a team volunteering day and help with a variety of activities: from sorting clothes, to gardening, to housekeeping to organising donated food. We are hoping to develop skill-sharing opportunities, where Asda staff could come into 3rd sector organisations and volunteer their expertise and knowledge.
Whether you can host large numbers of volunteers, or just a couple every now and again we would love to hear from you. We are keen to look at different opportunities for individuals to work with an organisations as well as training that you might need, ideas we have thought of are:
- Book keeping help for small organisations
- Social media strategy guidance
- Health and Safety/manual handling training
- Supporting staff and volunteers
- HR
We have a workshop planned to talk about how your organisation might benefit from ESV.
