Create a coronavirus NHS QR code for your venue – September 2020

a message from Judith Blake and Tom Riordan from LCC

With the new NHS Test and Trace App being launched on 24 September, we are determined that as many venues in the city get ready for the App. This means getting a QR code for the venue, making a poster, and displaying the poster. Here is the relevant pages of gov.uk, and I also attach the guide as a PDF if that is easier.

Please will you get and display a QR code for your venue(s) if you have them, and/or spread this message amongst your networks so that we have as many places in Leeds covered as possible to help is manage the rate of infection through the winter.

I also attach some background about the App, which is being launched on 24 September, in case it is useful to you and to share amongst your teams and networks. With apologies if you get this message more than once, but we are keen to do all we can to help reduce infection rates.

Thank you for all that you are doing to help people in the city stay safe.

Best wishes

Judith Blake, Leader of Leeds City Council & Tom Riordan, Chief Executive of Leeds City Council
