Conversation Club Ceilidh 14 February 2020

You are invited to a fundraising ceilidh on Valentine’s Day, 14th February.

There will be a live band playing traditional folk music from the British Isles and other countries, and leading us in the dances.

Please come along and bring as many friends and family as you can.  You don’t need to be able to do the dances (most of us can’t!), as there will be a caller who will explain each one.  There will be free nibbles available, a warm snack to buy if you want to, and of course a bar.

It will be held at Immaculate Heart Church, 294 Harrogate Rd, Moortown, Leeds LS17 6LE. Bus info on poster.

Ceilidhs are huge fun, and a great way to raise money for the Leeds Conversation Club for Asylum Seekers and Refugees based at Mill Hill Chapel.

Tickets can be bought on Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/conversationclub-ceilidh-tickets-86609390017

If you have not used this system before, it is very easy, and you can choose to print your own tickets or collect them on the door.  You will need a credit / debit card.

There are reduced-price tickets for under 18s and unemployed people, but we couldn’t arrange this through ‘Eventbrite’.  So if you need concessionary tickets, please buy them at the full price (£8), then let us know on the night and we will reimburse you £3 for each one.

Tickets are starting to sell fast – so don’t delay!

We hope to see you all there! It should be a wonderful evening.

Best wishes,

Colin Archer — CC volunteer
